With an extensive background spanning over three decades in
telecommunications, Mr. von Schaumburg brings a diverse skill set that
includes sales, marketing, software product development, operations,
distribution, strategic planning, business development, and finance. Prior to
assuming his current role at Red Bison, he co-founded a wireless design
firm, engaged in several startups, and held various positions at
AT&T/Lucent Technologies/Bell Labs. He is a recognized authority for in-
building wireless networks such as Wi-Fi and DAS (Distributed Antenna
Systems), he played a crucial role in AT&T Bell Labs' pioneering wireless
LAN platform, known as "WaveLAN."
In addition to his corporate roles, he is deeply engaged in the industry and
community. He is a founding board member of the non-profit organization
Building Cyber Security (www.buildingcybersecurity.com) and contributes to
the technology advisory board for Realcomm. His educational
accomplishments include a BA in Finance from St. Bonaventure University
and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
