Benjamin R. Reder

General Counsel
Ben Reder is a founding member of the law firm of Reder & Feig LLP. He represents studios, technology and content providers, mini-majors, independent production companies, and television producers in all types of transactional matters. His practice focuses on television and motion picture acquisition, development, financing, production and distribution. Ben brings extensive experience to this practice. He has represented a number of leading film and entertainment companies, studios and streamers  in connection with the financing of both large and small motion pictures, acquisition of literary properties, motion picture production and distribution, corporate formation and maintenance and guild arrangements for off-balance sheet financed films. He has also advised technology and content providers in the new media world. Before founding Reder & Feig, Ben was a partner in the Entertainment Law Group of Hogan & Hartson L.L.P., which has become Hogan Lovells.   Previously, he spent a number of years as vice president of business affairs for a prominent independent entertainment company. In the past several years, Ben has expanded his practice to include technology initiatives such as GIS, digital mapping and Connectivity.  He has been working with technology solutions firms and has helped his clients negotiate alliances and set up distribution channels for those companies. Ben will be serving as general counsel to Nadsco. Ben received both his law and undergraduate degrees from Harvard. He is a member of the California and Massachusetts bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Ben and his family reside in the Beverlyhood  neighborhood of Los Angeles.
